Mosques Vandalized Across US

Mosques are being vandalized across the country in the aftermath of the controversy over the Muslim community center at Ground Zero.

For months, conservatives have led a hateful campaign against the expansion of a local Islamic center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Now, the local press reports that the police are investigating a case of arson that occurred at the construction site of the mosque Friday night.

The incident at Murfreesboro should not be viewed in isolation. Among other recent Islamophobic hate incidents: a pipe bomb was set off at a Jacksonville mosque; a playground at an Arlington, Texas mosque was torched; a brick was thrown through a mosque window in Madera, California; a Nashville mosque was vandalized, among many others.

@72Yonatan Just to prove to you my point from the previous comment, when I was in high school I talked to a German student, and he justified killing the Jews by Hitler. His execuse is that the Jews were betrayal to Germany. I told him that does not give you the right to kill civiliance (men, women and children). He could not answer. The point is that the media was used by the German government to justify (killing). The same story with the US media, it justified the unjust war on Iraq!

@72Yonatan Governments cannot do anything before making most of their people agree on it. Most Germans were against invading another country that is not a threat to Germany, yet Hitlar invaded multiple countries. But before he did that, he used the media on his side to make the Germans believe that it is necessarily to invade other countries and kill people for better Germany. Hitlar would not be able to do all what he did if he did not have control over Germans using the media.

@72Yonatan Thanks for the support, its good to see a Jewish person against the media that made the Muslims and Islam's image look like hell to the public in the western countries. Every media must be controlled by the government, any government claims that it have no control over the media is a liar, its like they are saying we have no control over our military. Its okay to control the media, but its NOT okay using it to destroy someone else's image using lies and misinformation.
