@Momokabomo You are right about having the refs on our side, but wrong about us being the best.

The Russians were light years ahead of everyone, but especially N/A. No N/A team could come with in 12 goals of beating them back then, if officials called even 1/2 of the penalties that should be called.

One can't see all the dirt, cause much goes on out of camera. But the stuff we can see is not called & many are major penalties.

Our players have the wink & nod before every game against Russia.

THAT IS VERY COMMON IN NHL AS WELL - TEAM WITH NO CLASS OR SKILL RESORT TO THUGGERY AND DIRTY HITS EVEN AFTER THE WHISTLES AND SIRENS. PITTSBURGH CUP IN 2009 WAS THE LAST GOOD EXAMPLE. SAME SHITTY OFFICIATING TOO. AND BTW - CANADA AND US EVER ONLY DEFEATED USSR/RUSSIA HERE IN N AMERICA ON A SMALLER RINK WITH POCKET JUDGES. LMAO. SKILLESS GOONS.

You have paid attention, what almost Canada has hammered in all goals with infringement of rules?! If isn't present, BUY glasses!!! SUCH the CUP is necessary to YOU, Canada??? I REMEMBER AS YOU In 81 TH CUP of the NATIONAL TEAM of the USSR HAVE not given, AND NOW, the HISTORY HAS repeated! THEN WHAT SENSE of THIS TOURNAMENT? And on game all the same it is visible - the USSR was the best in the world at that point in time, without looking that you, Canada, a cup and have stolen!!!

on second thought canada played a lot of dirty hockey in this series....but hockey was dirty back then..at least in the NHL however Canada seems to have taken it too far.
