please dont take this as disrespect, but isnt this just a slap? I mean if I slap my bare skin hard enough, it will turn red where I slapped it. and a good marshal arts expert can build up enough speed to do the same thing in a few inches. maybe Im missing something.

First of all, let me discredit the miscreants that Say This Is "Just a slap. I Been self training martial arts for a few months now and.....It's not just a slap. If you build your energy properly It will actually "Burn" and keep burning. there Is Definatly Inner energy In this. for a simple normal slap stings for just a mere few seconds. @rekcufeht a normal slap does not leave bone prints. it is an internal strike, as compared to the iron palm which is external and will leave severe external damage, hence the vibratory strike does the damage on the inside. i think the idea of this palm (from my limited understanding) strike was to send damage thru amor. i can only say these things from what i have witnessed as i am only working on iron palm as of now. i think your 2 describes the strike quite well.

The slap does not seem to hurt at all. It just showed on the skin of the student, and he did not even have facial expression about being hurt.
