Quite the lengthy song; though to be honest, I played it slightly slower than the original song. This is by far my favorite song off of The Decemberists' new album, The Hazards of Love. The album is actually a concept album based on Anne Briggs EP also titled, The Hazards of Love.
It's not perfect, but I'm happy with how it came out. The album tells an almost gothic love story, portraying some very dark characters and themes. I really encourage you to check it out.
I tried my best to voice both Colin Meloy and Shara Worden as well as I could with the right hand melody. However, in the ending of the actual song, Shara really belts out those notes and that's fairly difficult to imitate on the piano.
Unfortunately, I have no sheet music for this. I comprised the entire cover by ear by listening to the song dozens upon dozens of time.
Sorry for the new camera angle, however, it's going to be that way from now on. The company that I work for just moved and I can't put the camera at the angle I'm used to at the new office. :-P
I hope you all enjoy it!
