oh gosh how I hate to read all those comments of the people, judging the people that we're in Dutchbat. Really, you should check your resources better before judging them. It just shows how awfull the power of the media is. You all should learn to listen to ALL sides of the story, before shouting stuff on the internet.

Netherlands and Serbia are friends, people look to closely to one side of the story.

Muslims did terrible things to Serbs, they had a right to defend themself.

Dutchbat couldnt do anything to protect those muslims because it was not armed to do so, its not the faulth of the dutch soldiers or the dutch government, its the UN that made mistakes.

But i understand the serbs because their people were getting killed by muslims, international media makes it look like muslims r innocent.

Sad chapter in history, cant blame dutchbat entirely however. They were under-manned under-equipped and were hastily put together, no support from their UN counterparts and hampered by an unfit for purpose UN mandate. They really didnt have any other choice or they would have been massacerd. Its easy to view it as a third party and label them cowards but the vast majority of people would have done the same. The bosnak men were going to die regardless of there interference. Save lives not face.

European nationalists are more organized right now, there are more contacts between one and another ,there is internet.

IF it will come to another war, it will only lead to more bloodshed on both sides.. the outcome will be nothing different.

the serbs you were working with, may look nice and act nice, hehe but in their minds they are just fantasizing how they would kill you. Them "helping" in srebrenica is bull shit. It's an act to show the world that they are good people, while they're not. Everyday a serb kills a serb, there i still war in serbia in the streets. It's one big poor ghetto overthere. Smart serbs leave serbia and never come back. Greetings from the paradise of beautifull Bosnia.

i'm bosnian to, but you are wrong, and most people are, like salamanderjood says, we DID attack serbia, and badly, only after they attack us on srebrenica and more places on a filthy jewish way, attacking the innocent. While they were riding us clinton didn't mind, when we started raping serbia in the ass and taking over places in serbia (thanks to mudzahedin, iraki weapons, turkish weapons and man power) clinton decided to send the UN. they can't afford muslims to rule EU ;)

2 years ago some dutch ex commando who was in bosnia in the 90's, said that to my face at a bar in holland, i grabbed him by his shirt and started beating up on his head untill he didn't get up anymore and his face was swimming in a pool of blood. You can thank youtube for you online freedom of speech, in real life i would fuck you up badly. All I have to say is that I didn't see any other country over there... Nor any one of you guys, regardless of my compatriots who did, in fact, happen to be there. We shouldn't be there anyways. Anyhow, it is such a shame our nation cannot provide military influence anymore, unlike 4 centuries ago. Hail the Dutch and may the Netherlands gain once again one of the strongest economies in the world together with military power (which, hopefully, won't be necessary to use).

I think the muslim victims have been in the media a dozen times, while the Serb victims were not.

Bosnian Muslims didn't do anything? WHAT? are you joking? They plundered and raped hundreds of innocent Serbians, who after that took up arms and fought the Muslims.

Yes, Srebrenica was an act of violence, but done by people who's families got murdered/tortured by Bosnian Muslims.

@salamanderjood - seems like you have no idea of what really has happened? At the end of the war do you know how many dead Muslims there were compared to Serbs? I don't recall Bosnian Muslims attacking Serbia so why would Serbs have to defend themselves? This all was over religion and land. For people who think like you I only wish that this terrible thing maybe happens to your and your family maybe then you would have different perspective talk about right to defend themselves

@salamanderjood Ik ga in het Nederlands verder gaan, dat is toch net eventjes een beetje gemakkelijker om mij uit te drukken ^^ eerst en vooral moet ik toegeven dat mijn reactie was overdreven was, maar ik ben ervan overtuigd dat aggressie nooit de oplossing is, wat jij hoogstwaarschijnlijk ook vindt, en ik begrijp ook niet dat mensen zich er toch aan overlaten. Ik volg je wel helemaal als je zegt dat het de Serven zijn die altijd als de schuldigen worden aanzien, de oorlog kwam van twee kanten.

@S7SinS I can understand the Serbs because they were men with familie, their churches were being burned down by Bosnianks (+albanians and other mujahideen volunteers), their woman were raped, and their children and parents were killed.

They were furious, and they were given the oppertunity to take revange.

I dont know what i had done in such a situation, but one thing is clear.. the world and especially Amerikan scum shows ONLY the serbs as agressors, and that is simply not true.
