Oendan Yell - Cheerleading Japanese Style

The Japanese Style Cheerleading group at Yamaguchi university does not seem to have all that many members but they have a lot of power. These people go to baseball stadiums and lead the fans. Unlike Western cheerleaders they are generally men but the main cheerleader in this video is a woman.

I should be able to get another shot of them on about the 15th of this month when there is another campus festival. The girl (center) is no longer in the chearleading team though. Japanese cheerleaders are generally male.

First time I've seen a girl in a gakuran (...can't remember if that's the correct word), though. All I've seen are the common colorful ones (...You know, like the Cheergirls in the Ouendan games.)

I'd appreciate if cheerleaders at my school cheered like that. Their cheers just aren't as empowering as this XD I want people to yell "DO IT DO IT WE LOOVE YOOU!" at me, that's like the only way I can play well.
