NAPACK 1500 KONTI GROUP PACKER

The NAPACK 1500 KONTI is the first group packer made in the Czech Republic to be working in a continuous way. Its maximum capacity of 2 000 packs / hr determinates it for the lines with capacity of 6-12000 bottles / hr (for packs 2 x 3 = 6).
Functional description:
• The groups of bottles in question are separated on the sorting table and batched into a bar conveyor.
• A cut-size of foil is measured and cut off.
• The staging conveyor carries the cut size onto the first belt conveyor.
• A group of bottles arrives at the foil.
• The special slatted conveyor ("foil throw-over device") picks one end of the foil up and "throws it over" into the gap between the first and second belt conveyors.
• After the group of bottles passes through the gap onto the second belt conveyor, the bottles will be wrapped in foil.
• By passing through a hot air tunnel, the foil will shrink and fix the bottles in their pack.

Four servo drives are used for driving the above described conveyors. The use of the fifth servo drive for driving a foil cutter knife and the application of MOTION CONTROLLER TRAJEXIA software for synchronization of speeds and mutual positions of individual servo drives are unique. The use of servo drives has substantially simplified the mechanism of conveyor drives.

Prospects:
Further development of the NAPACK KONTI group packer will be focused on application of printed foils, packing bottle groups into reglets and perspectively onto trays.
