Final drive was by by belt or chain with fuel economy at 40 to 50 miles per gallon. Features included rear suspension by cantilever springs, road clearance was 9 inches, total Cyclecar weight was 608 pounds, wheelbase was 104 inches and tread width was 36 inches. Specially designed for around town use.The Owego Cyclecar was produced as a streamlined two passenger tandem model or a one passenger with a delivery body. One distinguishing feature was that the electric headlights were mounted on the front fender, later that became a feature of the Pierce-Arrow.

Thanks! -Might go back to these - simple, and the modern version would make a great small hybrid vehicle. Less parts=less to break down, and fantastic mileage - how long before we get our mileage back to what these cars achieved in 1914?!!
