In the disease of addiction, the pain and suffering of alcohol and drug abusers is well-documented. Unfortunately, in societys rush to cope with these horrors, the troubles of addicts children are frequently overlooked. In this powerful investigative documentary, the experiences of some of these children are brought to life. Host Collin Siedor offers a shocking, but hopeful look at this growing problem, presenting insights from addicts children, addicts themselves, case-workers, psychologists, and other experts involved in treatment programs for addicts and their children. Points out that treatment programs for families and support groups for children can provide valuable intervention.—Booklist. Produced by Dystar Television, Inc. An MTI release.
