i just dont see the point in making an elaborate launch with all these cameras and shit for such an uneventful launch, not to mention they had no clue what they were doing.

Made for a crap rocket, but it wasn't bad as an airplane!

Twelve Years doing that??? lol Too much emotion build up for a launch... well, congrats anyways for the video...

thanks dude!!!

You need a bigger motor. There is a computer program you could of used to simulate the launch. It's called RockSim. You should not fly unless you have a 5 to 1 thrust to weight ratio.

i have one saturn 5 and aerotech G80-4,,,
no launcher yet
Man I made this same Estes kit and it took forever...no room for errors or your fucked! It had all kinds of special construction specs and lots of finishing work with flimsey decals! There is no way I would launch it in wind like that! These douches didn't care because they did not put in the time to actually MAKE something! IDIOTS!

Sorry you feel that way. We have built many of these rockets and we had no choice but to launch on that date. If fact I have built them since 1974. When did you start. Do you remember the interceptor?

LAME!!! TOTALLY LAME!!! NASA does use ammonium perchlorate as the fuel oxidizer for the SRB, but Aerotech WhiteLightning and the SRB fuel are completely different all they have in common is the bright white flame ,white smoke, the fuel oxidizer ammonium perchlorate.

Hey Rocket Man. I guess I should have been more specific. For the general viewer, using AP and similar bonding agents is close enough. Your right, the fuels are not exactly the same, but the theory and manufacturing process is very similar. Lame, totally Lame is a bit strong when referring to a group who put up thousands of dollars to dedicate a bike to the Apollo program.
Thanks
