  • One of the things I discovered at the "Voices in Wartime" seminar at Edmunds Community College, Is how we are divided by reticence.

    There is a seemingly great divide between people who have experienced war and those who have not. There is a reticence to cross that divide for many reasons, many of them reasonable on their face. Veterans want to talk about their experiences but are reticent about volunteering information and civilians want to ask but are reticent for fear of offending.
