Contra: Hard Corps - No Death (2 of 2)

A perfect playthrough of Contra Hard Corps for the Sega Genesis as Brad Fang. This is not a tool-assisted run. No save states, cheats , turbo buttons, etc. were used.

I chose the route I did because it is generally considered the hardest route. I regret that this route doesn't have Big Magnum in it, 'cause Mother Alien and Red Falcon aren't really that difficult, whereas Big Magnum is to a degree.

But, it gets me wondering why people call Hard Corps the hardest Contra. I completed this no-death run in 5 tries, whereas Contra III took me about 100 and it's shorter than Hard Corps. Hard Corps doesn't involve a lot of reflex so much as memory, as most enemies are sub-bosses and bosses with patterns more predictable than in most other Contras.
