Fanime 2010 Aksys Panel - buzzsaw's Question

Probably the most interesting thing asked during the entire Q&A session.

From left to right on the panel: Mikey (Aksys Translator), Daisuke Ishiwatari (GGXX Director), Mori Toshimichi (BB Director), Gail (Aksys Marketing), Xie (????)

Any silences in the audio is just me yelling into the mic so loudly that the audio spikes and is unbearable. Don't worry, there wasn't any important parts cut out.

Also, italics are people who are not buzzsaw or apart of the panel.

A+B+C option select sucks, and I'd prefer if the wakeup games were more like GG with no rolls and stuff. But then this is just the second game in the line and GG had like 5.

But advance input is a godsend. Why would anyone hate on it? Cause it makes inputting things easier?

Would you enlighten us to these other "gay ass things", because all I hear being thrown around is how "the game is dumbed down for n00bs".

I dunno if it's funny or sad to see both dbag players like this guy and the makers themselves shitting on other games. If the guy wants to play games with high execution barriers, what's stopping him? It's not like his favorite games disappeared. The fanbase for games like that has long since capped out. Developers figured out they -have- to make games more accessible if they want more money. Otherwise like they mentioned, it's just this guy and his 5 friends.

This buzzsaw guy is really ugly.  :V Anyway, I'm not happy with the answer they gave. I think they're going in the wrong direction with this series...

Also, why can't GG fans and BB fans get along? :3 Or at least, why can't they stop making useless posts full of whining and bitching?
