  • The official song of "Twitter."

  • Wow, my earliest memory. This is the very first song I can remember...my Grandma would sing it to me as a baby..wish I had a recording of her singing it before she died...thanks so much for the beautiful memories..didn't know about the "opera" line, just the chorus..

  • @Philious Me too! Those covers really catch me off guard.

  • love to listen to this first thing in the morning; it puts me in a great mood!

  • Didn't the Sex Pistols do a cover version?

  • 1934?! Oh wow, I always thought this song was written much later for the Enchanted Tiki Room. Oh wow. Learn something new every day.

  • And silly me thought Disney created this for his tiki room, but then, I'm only 53 !

My music archive has playlists for each of the past 100 years, 4 generations of pop music are only clicks away, a musical escape to the past . . . . . . . . . .

Thanks again to Aaron for another treasure !

  • oh my goodness! i was trying to sing this to my great -nephew yesterday and forgot some of the words. i remember it from the days of cartoons that had song lyrics at the end and the narrator would say "follow the bouncing ball". what a memory jogger. thanks for the post!!
