@ogicabp4u Typical Xmas rip off! A redefine key option would have made it more playable.

@SPINNYFUCK was due for xmas release and they were only 50% through the speccy version...just got it finished in time for the marketing department - rush job. The Amstrad version was finished too...but too late for the xmas launch. only one know copy of the Amstrad game in existence on cart. worth 1000GBP.

Bob? the head criminal mafia master mind - 'Bob' !!! BOB!!! B-O-B! BOB!! Hahhaahahaaa...bet all the other 8 bit computer game criminals out there laughed out loud hysterically when they heard his name...he must have got the shit ripped outta him big time!!!

Christ, how did Ocean drop the ball on Chase HQ II??? The original is arguably the greatest ever coin op conversion for the machine, but this is, shit!!!
-
Too bad the programming team from the first Chase H.Q. weren't around for this sequel.Maybe then we would have a decent conversion.

A big disappointment after the 1st game. With the amount of talent that Ocean had this really should have been better. To make matters worse the fire key is awkward as well.
Just like Grand theft auto! Similar, but it has better sirens sounds indeed (although the music is terribly annoying).
It's hard to understand why when you crash your car against the criminal's one, only his car suffers any damage.

Programmed by a company named Ice Developments who also made Turbo Outrun. That explains why both games are so bad. The music is awful considering it's for 128K.

With a villain called 'Bob the Boss' it was bound to fail. I think the programmers of the first game new the Spectrum's limitations. They deliberately reduced the size of the screen which made the game run smoother (and faster). If only the same had been done for Outrun and this game.
It's also irritating when the music and sound FX are fighting over sound channels during the shoot-out scenes. Well played as always.

Great thought went into that name and the game! You'd have thought that this game was going to better the 1st one. Big disappointment! Cheers mate!
