my c3 vette blew two 700r4 boxs and then i chucked in a th400 and it blew the hell outa my torque convertor?? to much power? shit convertor? (tc was brand new prostar i think its called imported from mi usa
vette runs 350 tpi alloy heads bigger injectors air foil custom pod, extractors 3 inch excaust th400 should hold that together? or do i need to step up and buy a really expensive race box ?
and if my tc is blown would it stuff my tranny ?

@zakbag A properly built TH400 should definitely handle your application without a problem. Regarding your blown Converter, it will definitely harm the transmission and it would be highly recommended to replace it with a new one.

is there any difference when installing a non monster 700r4?

@jsk8drummer Most all installations will be quite similar. The main different when dealing with Monster Transmission is that they provide all the necessary nuts, bolts, and parts when performing a 700R4 Conversion.

How long in hours would it take for the removal and install of a new transmission?

@ompenarnie The time it takes to remove and install a new transmission depends on a lot of factors. A rear-wheel drive is much easier than a front-wheel drive and can range anywhere from 1-2 hours for an experienced tech.
