The Adjust-A-Temp Heat Mats are superior quality mats that have a built-in three setting control switch for creating the temperatures you need for your reptile. The high quality integrated conductors in this mat are built for safety and are sealed into a heavy duty plastic shield. The shield is both water and rot resistant and can easily be mounted underneath or as a side mounted heat source.

These mats produce infrared heat similar to the sun that is uniform, consistent and dependable so that your reptile receives quality heat. The mats were originally designed to be used with glass cages and tanks and thus we have labeled the mats as such but because of the addition of the flexible three setting control system these mats can also be used with acrylic and some plastic cages.

  • so would if i use a heat mat on a 29 qt storage bin will it melt the bin? or should i not do that?

  • @wellwellcoolkid I think you are better off using our intellitemp heat mats which are made for plastic enclosures.

  • i have my heat mat on there sticking to my tub no tin foil will it still get too hot with about a inch and a quarter of aspen

  • @c032970 You can use a thermostat to keep it at the temp you need it to be.

  • Could you put the heat mat inside the tank, underneath the substrate? Please could i have an answer asap

  • @S3XYBOI100 Yes, but you must make sure even on the lowest setting that the mat doesn't get too hot as bedding insulates heat and makes it go higher.
