Did anyone notice that there was no attempt, by either singer, to see who can hit the highest note. Watching a duet on American Idol is like watching a screaming contest between two banshees.

I saw her perform, in a wheel chair, at the Hollywood Bowl in 1992 with Mel Torme.

She told the story about how Frank Sinatra paid for all of her medical and rehab bills during her illness. Many people forget just how generous Frank was.
