METRO-NORTH 7:40 AM HUDSON LINE TRAIN

My ride to GCT on train #8812 the 7:40 from Poughkeepsie making all stops to Croton-Harmon. Then it will amke stops at Ossining, Tarrytown, Marble Hill, 125th St. and Grand Central. Today's consist is Shoreliner I cab car #6101 and 5 Shoreliner II's and another Shoreliner I as well as a new scheme Genesis.

hey, that is the first shoreliner to be built. #6101. Shoreliner I. Do not confuse these for the comet coaches.

@malikrthr1 I never confuse Shoreliners for Comets. I ahve been familiar with Shoreliners longer than Comets. This Shoreliner I cab car #6101 went throught the rebuild program and looks great. The logos on the front of the Metro-North owned Shoreliner I cabs look better than the ones owned by CDOT because the logos are now being placed in the center leaving an ugly blank space on the right.

you're right. Since the Shoreliner I went through rebuild in 2007-08 they look almost new. Almost newer than the Shoreliner III.
