A simple note regarding SIAI SM1019: The first prototipe of that aircraft was rebuilt with a fuselage and wings of Esercito Italiano Cessna L-29. The new engine ( a turboprop engine fron Agusta Bell 2006) was fitting instead of Continental O-470 engine and , for counterbalanced the new torque of the engine, the tail was taken from a S208.
