I don't know why people are getting so political. The song is about mourning for all of those good, innocent people who were lost, not about whose fault it was.

its the wolfe tones that do this version , they do 2 versions , origionaly written by charles o neil , about englands rule over ireland , james connoly and patrick pearse rebelled against the english and were executed , ( england were using irish soldiers in world war 1) and families rebelled after the easter rising which the conflict between england ireland soon followed.....

It's a great piece, but we are not told who the singers are, and you don't give any names to the pictures. Unfortunately not everyone knows who these men are, especially the younger people of this YouTube generation, and it is important that they are able to know the history.
