obviously one shouldnt aim the thing at anyones eyes or drivers/pilots.. etc. but there is no law against owning them and having fun with lasers, as long as your not harming anyone. idk about Australia, but that is the law in the US. So shut up, or back up your claim in some way.

@mercanaries3 ok dumbass.. i am currently holding a 50mw laser i ordered through usps and got in the mail without any problems. it was not smuggled. and many american companies sell very high powered lasers online to civilians and they are clearly labeled.
