Sadly, Laura died in 2002. The Bar-B-Q Killers played from 1984 to 1989, after which Laura became an integral part of the band Jack-O-Nuts--look for their video for "Chump Change" on YouTube. And there's another Bar-B-Q Killers video posted on YouTube as well.

Laura Carter rocks...reminds me of a female Iggy Pop. If you can find their 1987 COMELY LP check it out. Blew me away first time I heard it.
