"If only I had something to distract them with, something to provide meaningless information, if only I had a television set." Dr. Who.

@HostileNegotiator "And shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned." so essentially its saying not to steal a thousand dollars from each family and give it to people who don't deserve it, leaving your two comments completely contradictory, making you a hypocrite. One comment says "2008 hope" and the other one supports what i was saying about not doing bullshit taxes for bullshit reasons.

@wazzuspartan "Commerce with all nations, alliance with none, should be our motto." "A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government." Thomas Jefferson. You should really listen to wiser men.

Hope - taking $1000 from each hardworking family in the US in order to pay for healthcare that either you already have, is worse than what you want, or is going to someone who; destroys their health with drugs/alcohol, is on welfare because they dropped high school, or doesn't deserve it.
Bush/Cheney Coup detat my ass. They counted, recounted, took it to court, recounted again, and bush won by about 1000 votes, fair and square. At least bush didn't murder fetuses.

For me, the sad part was that from start to finish, all of high school and college, george w. bush was our president.

OK, one more time. GW did walk to the White House and the speeding limo footage was taken after he walked past the presidential reviewing stand and they sped up to get him into the back of the White House property and into the stand. Protestors were not allowed anywhere near the presidential reviewing stand. Oh, one more thing, one egg does not constitute "pelting."

We gave Obama a chance - a chance to spend us, our children and our grandchildren into a life of socialist servitude. And he took that chance for "change" and ran with it.
"If the American people ever allow the banks to control the issuance of their currency; the banks and corporations that grow up around them will deprive the people of all property; until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their forefathers occupied." Thomas Jefferson.
1913 Federal Reserve Act. The day America died.
1963 murder of JFK. The day opposition was crushed.
2001 coup de tat Bush / Cheney. The day the power elite declared war on the world.
2008 hope.
