This sounds cheesy, but I'd say you're never too old to start learning. My friend is fifteen and just picked up a violin for the first time this year, and she already loves it. Maybe there's advantages to starting at a younger age, but think of it this way - if you start now and practice hard, you may be able to play these pieces you like someday. But if you assume you're too old and never start, there's zero chance you'll do that. At least give it a try if you really want to.

This right here is the reason why I picked up music. I wouldn't have started learning piano or guitar or violin or any instrument I play if not for Emilie.

And she is good at singing @whillop she just sings differently than your taste enjoys. It's all opinion.
