I saw them in bradford, awsome feeling. i think the point with gothic/ DW, Which is why i like it, is that they feed you a series of words that create images in your mind. I guess no two people share the same image though, and thats why this kind of music is hard to share.

Dont worry if you dont understand the meaning of lyrics they are cryptic, as long as you get the feeling, and it stimulates you, take the words and see what comes to mind, each time you listen may be different

Takes me straight back to 81 (and a variable amont of lucids!). Lucky enough to travel up from Torquay to Bristol to watch Bauhaus; though all me and Gary [a Bowie/Goth'esque fast drinking hard livn' trawler man .. who's taste in music was impecable; as was his love for film ... lots of Dario Argento] could 'shout' that night was 'Fish Cakes' ... a little forgotten B-side of Bauhaus. They didn't play it! But all of this L.P they did. What a great night and well worth the 200 mile round trip!

I NEED HELP!!!PLEASE? So, I really hate listening to a song when I don't know the meaning of it. I know the whole song is about love and passion. But what does peter mean by "she has nut painted arms,that were hers to keep"? What does "turned into feathers " mean? What does l"little foxes" mean here? What does " she gets the better of the bigger to the letter'" mean? I know this i s alot but I don't want to listen to a song just because I like the rhythm of it! Thank you :)
