PSP 3000 running Windows 98 through the Half Byte Loader (Patapon 2 Hack)

This video will show you how to load Windows 98,95 on your PSP through the HBL r79.

Installation-
1.Put the Dosbox folder into PSP-GAME.
2.Start the Patapon 2 Game and then the HBL.
3.Select Dosbox from the HBL menu.
4.Wait till it boots, then on the screen you will see a cursor blinking on the bottom line.
5.There press the Left arrow button and the X button at the same time, till you trigger numbers.
6.Then Press the rectangle button to see if you have triggered numbers.
7.Once you have triggered numbers press 1 to load into the OS selection screen.
8.On that screen press 1,2 or 3 respectively to start the OS.

Dude even I am not sure how to type it. I have provided some methods in the descp. other than that I am not sure as I tried this thing long long time ago. But why are you using HBL you can use TN-D HEN or 6.35 PRO LCFW instead. They are more stable and easy to use rather than HBL. Use search engines and you will find 100s of tuts.

I've tested and have confirmed that this does work on a PSP 3000 lite with Official Firmware 6.37 with Wololo's Half Byte Loader.

Use 6.35 PRO-A to play ISO/CSO directly from XMB. Google it.

Do u know how to hack into a psp go? I was to update it into a Ds I hear I can do that.

Yes of course, you can hack a PSP Go...google for 6.20 TN Hen or 6.35 PRO-A and you'll get what you want...

@MozzyFlippo DSonPSP will never work as well as actually playing the games on an actual DS so it's a waste of time. (The max framerate for games is about 4FPS which is basically unplayable)

ok i managed to download hbl and install it.

i have managed to put DOSbox in my game folder.

But now i have got into a menu that says

DBS MAIN MENU

"to go to boot menu press 1

to go to the utility menu press 2" etc...

and then at the end it says

which one[1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8] and then there is the blacktyping thing"idk what to call it"

i want to type 1 here but i cannot manage to type it, cause i don't know how :(

please help guyz
