How the West Was Cliche

This film was made for the 2007 UCI Mad Film Dash. Teams were given prompts and have 24 hours to film, edit, and produce a 5 minute film. We had three choices of genre, and we chose Western. You'll also notice a reference to the UCI Computerstore, as that was something that was somewhat required. And unfortunately, since there was a 5 minute max, we had to delete about 45 seconds from our final cut. As a disclaimer, we are allowed to use the copyrighted music because this film was a non-commercial project.

And for those of you who are wondering, the contest went from midnight to midnight. We didn't start filming until almost 3pm, and we ended up with 4 hours to edit everything. All things considered, I think this is by far the best western ever made. Mad props to Gil, Chris, Steve, Tyler, and Sarah. And a special shout-out goes to Indian Hills Camp, for letting us film at their campgrounds.
