It's small but comfortable enough for travel to and from the vet. It's only a travel cage not his cage at home.

It's a gauze to prevent him from pulling out all his feathers. It's very common for birds to feel stress from many different factors including moving to a new habitat or having to get acquainted to new food, etc so they tend to pull out their feathers. That gauze was put on by the vet to prevent further plucking. But rest assured, this bird is VERY spoiled and loved

to have in a restricted inclosure like that is crule. at what is around the birds waist doesnt look very happy>:(

No silly. It's just a travel cage to transport to and from the vet. At home his cage is almost as big as a small bedroom and he's not locked up.
