Umm, a note to all 2 stroke owners. Do not let chassey dyno clowns run your bikes the way this one is! Never ever ever wind one down with the throttle shut!! Your fuel suply is your oil supply! You shut the throttles and you cut the oil off.

This bike is oil injected, not mixed. Unless you specifically modified it for premix instead of oil injection. And it should be common knowlege that when you engine break a 2 stroke, you hit the back break enough to make the rpm go down faster than it would regularly with no breaking. silly people

@TheDafc there is, however, the lube level is still tied to throttle position because you need air flow through the engine to distribute the oil. Close the throttle and your lubrication stops. Not to mention engine braking on a two stroke always means exaughst gasses entering the crank case. This can very quickly turn the tiny amount of lubricant in a two stroke into useless tar and carbon.

Well, it's obvious that you never tore down a 2 stroke engine!!

When the gas & oil mixture enters the enging, PART of the oil goes to the lower end (crank area) and acculates there and lubricates the crank.

If you were to rebuild a 2 stroke engine where the ENTIRE engine is rebuilt and there is NO OIL in there whatsoever, you are to add a few oz. of oil to the lower end.

@Polybun You are INCORRECT Sir!!!! You can "wind one down" by shutting off the throttle. There is oil in the crank case!!
