@abcwang1990 I have unboxed and reviewed the AVerMedia Game Capture HD. It's not full 1080p as you would expect, but for no PC involved, it's pretty cool.

would there be any other reason you get no video feed? i suspect because my tv is really old

No way to hook up the Ps3 to the pc and get picture on the pc screen? That way you could just use fraps if possible to get a screen through the HDMI cable. Possible?

Hey it's a nice play but it really deserves better video quality… I heard that AVerMedia Game Capture HD records HD video games and it works without PC! Have you tried it?
