Model trebuchet (similar to a catapault) that launches a projectile, captured using high speed video camera. Slow motion permits you to see exactly how the complex physics works. Taken using a camera from Southern Vision Systems Inc.
I'm trying to capture a trebuchet launch myself, but I have no hi-speed camera. Have you bought the camera you used? Or have you rented or borrowed it? How could I get one do you think?
wow, nice man, i wish i had a high speed camera when fireing my own trebuchet. I made one for a school project with a friend, and although we knew when and how the sling released, we couldn't capture it.
the hook on the end of the arm releases one of the sling lines at a certain angle.
watch the end of the arm
