Cameron's contribution has been noticed, evaluated or appraised yet, because there are too many damn people out there, refusing to take his work seriously. So, you won't be seeing Cameron's inspiration on filmmaking for a little longer, unfortunately.

steven spielberg is a nice film maker who inspired the world to dream bigger. he deserves this award . james cameron is also a nice film maker but here spielberg is getting his award for his contribution for cinema. we may have our favorites but we should appreciate or atleast we should not to talk negatively about some ones success.

Yeah,but the Cecil B. Demille award always is the longest speech. Remember this year,when De Niro got it,and the previous year, when Scorsese got it? There speeches were pretty long,too. Besides, it Steven Spielberg. He can talk for as long as he wants.He has done more the film industry than anyone there,except for maybe Scorsese.
