I have plenty of experience with a hammer, Id rather rather use my estwing . If you don't use a hammer much it would be nice though, and beats hitting your fingers .

This is actually a nice product, a friend of mine has one and I used it to build a dog house. The only thing is it's a bit slower than using a regular claw hammer and nails if your experienced. I drive my nails with 3 brisk swings of a regular hammer. But if you don't have much experience with carpentry, or perhaps for elderly people this makes a great product for them, allowing them to build / repair things that they just couldn't do anymore like they used to.
