Lego Mindstorms NXT and a Technic Bulldozer kit were used to build a WALL-E lookalike based on a design of BazMarc. Two light sensors were used to track the line. The caterpillar tracks are powered with 2 powerfunction XL engines. The NXT uses the HiTechnic IR-Link to control the speed of the engines. This video was taken during the Roborama 2009 contest in Belgium.

software : NXC with BricxCC

Hardware : 1 NXT, 3 NXT engines, 4 PF motors, 1 PF IR receiver, 1 UltraSonic sensor, 2 light sensors, 1HiTechnic IRlink, 1 HiTechnic Compass,NiMH rechargeable batteries and Lego from the Bulldozer #8275 and various other parts.
