In 1968 the world witnessed the birth of the first modern zombie movie called "Night of the Living Dead" and since this day, the world of horror cinema wasn't the same anymore. The movie was a masterpiece and scary as hell. The director George A. Romero created the beloved modern Zombie genre with this little movie. The movie was powerful, dark and very scary. The rare soundtrack is also really dark and scary. Please enjoy listening to the soundtrack from one of the best horror movies ever made!!!!
@UndeadLavender Yes, I did. This movie is in "Halloween II" and can be heard in a few parts of the movie.

@DirectorACL no they don't have decay in dawn of the dead. they just look like they lost all of the blood in their body. XD (the blue-ish grey furon color)
I can't speak for Day of teh Dead considering I haven't seen it.

@Shadowdwellerblake Well, the living dead have decay on their face in Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead and it was directed by the same director who did this movie. He just wanted the decaying makeup on the actors, because in NOTLD they didn't have much money to make decayness.

well it just proves that today's horror rip-offs think it's all about the graphic volgarity, considering that this, being the first (true) zombie movie, in which everyone looks like ordinary people, and now-a-days they think it's a requirement to show hideous decay in every possible place....

Several scenes from the movie as well as this music can be heard in the background in "Halloween II" (1981). Last Halloween, I had this movie on my DVR and watched it. Thankfully, Michael Myers didn't show up. ;-)

Some of this soundtrack (the chase scene) was used briefly in "The Hideous Sun Demon", starring Robert Clarke.
