"I love it!" I said before I kissed him. I pulled away. "You had me going there for a minute. I actually thought you didn't like it!" he said with a laugh. "If it involves you, there is no way I wouldn't like it." I said quietly. He smiled and grabbed my hand and pulled it up to his lips to kiss it then we walked over to the table and he pulled out my chair for me. "Thank you." I said with a smile. "Youre very welcome." he said sitting in his chair. We started eating the food my parents brought. They know me so well, Caeser Salad, my mothers Lasagne, real Tim Hortons Ice Caps, all my favourites! "So I have a question." I said twenty minutes late, when we finished eating. "And what would that be?" Nick asked. "What DVD is in the projector?" I said looking over at the blank screen. "Guess." he said with a smile. "That's not fair! There are like a million movies it could be." I whined. "A million and one actually." he teased. "Not funny, Nickel." I teased back. He grimaced when I called him that but immediately replaced it with a smile, "It's one of your favourites." he said. "Well that narrows it down from a million and one to a hundred and one." I said sarcastically, Nick laughed. "I could give you a hint I guess." he said. "Please!" I begged. "I hope you don't mind, I hope you don't mind, that I wrote down in words, how wonderful life is now your in the world." he sang and my eyes went wide. "MOULIN ROUGE?" I yelled in excitement. He laughed and nodded. (A.N. lol I was coming down the stairs today and I heard that playing and I actually did that, Taylor couldn't stop laughing Lol I get a little excited when Moulin Rouge is on, don't judge me -.-) "Come on." Nick said getting up and offering me his hand. We walked over to the blanket and laid down. Nick put his arm around my shoulder and I laid my head on his chest. He clicked the remote and Moulin Rouge started on the screen. I smiled, this had to be the best night ever! Perfect places, perfect dinner, perfect movie, and most of all perfect company. I looked up at Nick. "Why did you do all this?" I asked. He looked down at me. "Every girl wants the perfect sweet sixteen. You had a cake in between takes on set. I thought you deserved something better." Nick said, and my heart melted. Like I said perfect company. "Thank you." I said giving him a quick kiss and turning back to the movie. "You are so welcome." he whispered. I smiled and we continued to watch the movie. About half an hour into the movie it started to get dark and cold. I was wearing the dress Lizzy bought me, so I wasnt really dressed for a Chilliwack summer night. I shivered. "You cold?" Nick asked looking down at me. I nodded. "A little." I said. "Here." Nick said as he took of his jacket and put it on me. "What about you? Aren't you gonna get cold?" I asked. "I'l be fine, I'm not the one wearing the dress." he said laying back down, "Good, cause if you were, that would be really weird." I said laying back down as well. He laughed and we went back to watching the movie.
