Maybe I'm stuck in my ways but if I went to pop in at the school and my kid was dancing around in his or her underwear somone would be receiving a very narrow minded beating.

Generally it is not uncommon that children are wearing light clothing in summer. Just like here in their underwear, they sometimes play on the playground. We Germans are liberal in this respect. But for a school that is unusual even here. I would not feel that bad if I could see the face of the teacher.

its normal in Germany that kids are (half) naked. They can be naked in houses, at the beach or at pools, thats normal for our country, but usually they have clothes on I think.

man! they are kids! many kids are completly naked when they are at the beach or something like this and not because they are poor!

Just because they aren't wearing any clothes doesn't mean they're poor..I'm American and when I was little, if it was hot my parents let us walk around in our underclothes...the body isn't something to hide, especially not in one's own home...American's ideals are fucking stupid...and yes..I said that about my own country..sue me ;)
