Many now say Reggie was bisexual also. There's been some evidence put forward of sexual activities with men by him in prison.. but whether that is proof positive he was bisexual, or just the circumstances of being in prison so long, who can say.. certainly some biographical authors have claimed both had bisexual tendencies.

I think most people now agree the Krays sentence was unfair and disproportionate to their crime..they only were convicted of one murder each, and even those murders although calculated and premeditated, had some mitigating circumstances, they weren't just random violence killings..they were gang-related and this was the environment in which the Krays operated. If some gang did that today, maybe they'd be out in 10 years eh? The Krays were political prisoners basically, feared by the gov.

I'm not sure if they were a bad choice..I mean, it depends on your prospective... for a film, they were the ideal choice, twins themselves, good looking lads with a street edge to them, coming from the East End like the Krays themselves... who better? But they weren't as ugly/menacing looking as the real Krays. When you see the Krays on that famous BBC interview they did, they came across all innocent looking, but they were thugs really and bullies. They would beat anyone up who got in their way

Yeah that's right, the Richardson's were far more dangerous and menacing than the Krays ever were, they routinely used horrific torture and carried out mock trials on their victims. The Krays feared them themselves.

Heh the Krays thing has mesmerised the public thanks in part to this to film which glamorised and immortalised them. There's been a constant appetite for anything to do with the Krays since they were locked away..a mini-industry has sprung up! But really did they measure up to the myth and legend? They were small potatoes from what I can tell, compared to the American mafia. There's been a story too told they made more cash inside prison than out, that's absurd.

The film does not mention the paedophile rings the Krays ran through exploiting young boys.
