Objectives of celebrating teachers' day
• All across the world, Teacher's Day celebrations are undertaken to honor teachers for their sincere efforts to impart knowledge to their students.
• The day is dedicated to teachers, who play a prominent role in the life of their students. The teachers act as the guide for life, show the path towards success and enrich the personality of their disciples by imparting ethical and academic knowledge.
• By having celebrations on Teacher's Day, we want to convey the message that we care for our teachers, just as they do.
• Celebrating the event is the recognition of the devotion, with which, teachers undertake the responsibility of educating a child academically as well as morally.
• Apart from being the day when we give recognition to our teacher's hard work, the celebrations bring out a healthy interaction between students and teachers, wherein the later recognizes the teaching capability of the former.
• What we learn in childhood moulds our whole life. But often teachers are the most neglected souls; we forget to appreciate their contribution towards our personal life, towards community and towards nation as a whole. Teacher's Day is the occasion to remind us the importance of the Teachers. This is the day when we can appreciate and thank teachers for their invaluable guidance.
• CLC would take an opportunity to convey its message related to "Effective library resource management for critical thinking development" to such a large group of teachers.
• It would be a wonderful activity , where the kids would be disguising themselves as the teachers and the teachers would be acting like the students in colorful activities especially designed for this event .
• It would be a great opportunity for all the service providers of The Government Punjab to convey their message to teachers.
