I respect JMM for taking the fight but it was a stupid match up to begin with.

It was a battle against Diaz at lightweight so why offer him a shot at May at welta? A fight against Nate Campbell or Hatton at light welta would have been far more competitive.

But its another name to make May look good. I really hope he fights some natural Weltas soon. He would never fight Paul Williams.
