The DL was lucky enough to have The Walkmen play our launch party. They played some excellent new material. We don't know the song's titles yet.

Yea I know what you mean, sadly that piano and the old studio is gone. It's sad, but I guess it's better that they grow as a band.

It's not getting a studio release unfortunately (according to Pete Bauer). My guess is because they absorbed so many parts of this song into other songs (riffs, hooks, even lyrics) that they don't want it to seem copy + pasted.

yeah, let's hope that this song will get on there by the time "You and Me" actually releases.... The Fleet Foxes added Oliver James to there new album when it dropped, when it wasnt on the pre-leaked album.

ive been feverishly listening to the new album and i just realized that this isnt on it. its such a shame, this song is amazing. anyways, thanks for the info grimreaperbear.

i love this song. but its not on the new album and the walkmen have sworn to not play it live again. a friend had asked them about it and they just dont like the song for some reason. its fairly tragic. this will probably be the best recording for it ever. the new song "canadian girl" even has a lyric or two from this song.
