This is the Parachute Training Center: Edwards AFB Jump Tower. The tower is 250ft/76.2m tall, but the gondolas only go to the 230ft/70.1m level before going back down. This tower was built by Intamin and opened at Six Flags Great Adventure in 1983. At one time, just about every Six Flags had these kind of towers. Now the only ones I know of are at Six Flags over Texas and this park.

You can actually see some of the original walkway that once was the parks original entrance. Just look inside Rolling Thunders tracks and you see it.

THX FOR THE TIPS!!!! :) I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!!! :)

  • @reesyluvsu2 Bizzaro is a great ride during the day and even better at night. Plus there's onboard audio track as well. I've got both day and night off ride videos of GASM and Bizzarro as well as many other coasters and rides at SFGrAdv on my channel.

  • I miss this ride like this at Knott's Berry Farm. it also have the Sky Cabin with the Parachute Tower.

  • @woodencoasterfan Yeah I know where to look, I can easily see them from Kingda Ka. Just curious

  • @JerseyShore117 I'm not reall shure about that. But if you can, the buildings would be very small. I think you'd have to know where to look in order to see them.

  • im the only one who screams on this ride when it goes down, lol

  • @woodencoasterfan I've heard that Philly's skyline can be seen from Nitro, and Kingda Ka, along with NYC, do you think it's possible to see the tallest buildings in Manhattan from the top of this?

  • 1:45 best view

  • @reesyluvsu2 Ya, get on it fast, because they removed the one in Georgia 2-3 years ago for the goliath.

  • @woodencoasterfan thats awesome! ill be sure 2 check out ur channel very soon! do you understand how long it has taken me to find a channel with Six Flags Great Adventure videos for all of the coasters or at least most of them??? well let me tell you, its really hard...
