Super Mario Brothers Classic 1up Trick

I've finally mastered the 1up trick in Super Mario Bros. as you see you have to hit the turtle shell when it's in a certain position once you've get the timming down packed anybody can do it.

I remember being 6 years old when I found this by accident. My older brother flipped out, took the controller from me and proceeded to spend the next hour spending my hard earned lives. Come to think if it that sounds like my life now, cept my older bro is my wife.
