Nice ad. Is this running on CTV? The only troublesome moment was where you say nobody knows how to spend our money. People will be bothered by this because they know their money is going to be taken, and since it is, they want it put to good use. Could you assure people you'd take less of their money?

Fair enough - I won't bombard you with my pro-govt. thoughts; at least you're answer was sincere. Sucks being a politician doesn't it...having to be civil to the ilks of me? J/K - LOL. I do think though - that you are really going to need to prepare yourself to have to meet people with views that have a current much different than what you may swim in as an individual...but I suspect you likely already know that. But - I do applaud you are trying for your change in a positive way.

Name me one city councilman who can recite the monopoly board verbatim....thats right...you can't - you're a shoe in. So....Councilman....lets say I own a restaurant downtown...what are you going to do about freekeene mobs downtown scaring business away...or the people who take up the parking spaces all day long? Or what to do about the potholes...or the basketball courts need new hoops...or the water main on Main St. needs to be replaced...etc etc.

I'll try my best to answer:
1. Is the "mob" peaceful? Then I can't do anything about them.
2. I'm not lobbying against parking meters; but perhaps your restaurant should have a few spaces sold to it for customers.
3. Essential government work includes roads and water mains, not skate park, basketball courts, bike paths. Etc. Non-essential services would be best handled by private organizations.
As would essential services, but they are more difficult to hand over to a true free market.
