  • @valeriesbutterflys Isaiah 64:6. If you look at some translations it says something like "all our acts of righteousness are like filthy rags" If you look at the Greek it is basically is saying "filthy menstrual rags" which is what I believe is in the ESV and other versions. Filthy menstrual rags are kinda like modern day used tampons. Hope this helped!

  • @Condemnesis1

Maybe he does, and he has repented of that, so who are we to judge?

and doesn't everyone struggle with humility?

No offence, but focusing on another's sin and ignoring your own is kind of an act of pride in itself.

Just a thought, to everyone on this vid focusing of his lack of humility.

  • The bible says we can judge other believers. So if we see another person in sin, and we're not struggling with that sin, we can "gently restore" him or her.

  • i bet he send his day fasting

  • As much as I dislike Mark Driscoll, I agree with him that strong/bad language exists for a reason and in some cases is necessary.

  • @roac7777 man you a disolusional (spelling I know). Tell that to the hundreds of thousands of people who have first hand encouters with God almighty, it really doesnt matter what you think to know! You can't change my belief as I know that God is not only real but I walk in His presence. Thats somthing you cant argue with. now the fact you care so much to comment and reply to everyone here only tells me that your just trying to convince yourself.

  • @decosteve71 Yes I can guarantee that I will not stand before your non existent sky god. We all have short lives. There is no scientific evidence that any god exists. The teachings of Christianity are immoral and depraved and I am glad that I have no part in believing such a repugnant ideology. As for death, I never existed for millions of years before my birth, I will not at least be troubled to know that I will go into oblivion after I am dead.

  • @roac7777 In all your reply you didn't even answer the question; can you garantee that you won't stand before God in Judgment? You also assume I pretent to believe in God. Well this is a "FACT" I not only believe in God with all my heart. I also believe He sent His Son to bring salvation to anyone who wants to receive Salvation. I made my choice! I guess you have too! Good luck with that. Your short life on this earth is a blip compared to eternity. I hope your life style is worth it

  • @decosteve71 Additional: Therefore it is cowardly and unworthy to pretend to believe in god just to escape punishment. As an atheist I am saying there is no evidence that god exists also the teachings of Christianity are immoral and depraved. Its sadistic, devisive, homophobic, gynaephobic and fascist. If you would like me to list the reasons that it is immoral and depraved I would have to write to you directly on your message section of your channel as I do not have enough room here.

  • @decosteve71 Yes you said it, when you die you rot in the ground that is exactly what happens.

Your last sentence refers to Pascal's Wager. If there is a god and you believed in him before you die, you win, if there is no god and you have believed in him you still win because you will not be punished.

BUT there is a flaw in that argument. IF god is omnipotent he will know that you are only being a believer in the hope of not being punished, he will know you dont truly love him.
