Zurkhaneh 2

This is music played during Zurkhaneh or Zourkhaneh, an ancient Iranian sport whose origin goes back to nearly 2000 years ago. The word Zurkhaneh literally means 'house of power' and refers to both the sport itself and the place it is practiced. This video was taken on a trip to Yazd, Iran in October 2006

I heard theres a zurkhoneh in The valley and Orange county .. lol my dad told me that he moight take me there im so iranian seriously i left iran after second grade now im in 10th grade and im so proud of my heritage and i got my first tattoo last month of a farhavar on my back
