This is music played during Zurkhaneh or Zourkhaneh, an ancient Iranian sport whose origin goes back to nearly 2000 years ago. The word Zurkhaneh literally means 'house of power' and refers to both the sport itself and the place it is practiced. This video was taken on a trip to Yazd, Iran in October 2006
