Whoever said it is lame is missing the point. I am atheist and a member of a pagan community center in the Tidewater area of Virginia, USA. The point of drum circle is healing and balance. . I trance out and become one with my ancestors. Others are moved in ways that separate them from wordly possessions and leave them alone in their minds while their body follows instincts they cannot control. Drum circles are a beautiful, healing thing and I wish for everyone to experience it at least once.
