On September 19, 2009, California Coastal Cleanup Day, volunteers of the Gallinas Watershed Council (see www.gallinaswatershed.org) cleaned up trash in the North Fork of the Gallinas Creek in San Rafael, CA.
Dozens of bags of trash were collected by our volunteers. The most typical items that were found were plastic water bottles and styrofoam. A not so typical find included an abandoned truck.
