Ok, can someone help me here, I have just bought a ML 320 CDi and cant figure out how to work the paddle shift or manual mode, the owners manual is ordered from the dealer and could take a month to arrive and its driving me nuts not having full control of the gears, (mine is an early new model, 2006, gear display just says R, N, D and P, no D2 D3 Ds etc like the car in this vid)

Push the lever for the gearbox to D and then push it down once more, then you can change gears with the paddles.
